This Bright Tangerine baseplate kit is designed for RED KOMODO & KOMODO-X users wanting to add the quick-release 15mm LWS baseplate with support for 15mm rods. This creates a steady foundation to build up the camera and it also allows you to easily transition your entire build between tripod & handheld setups. The whole kit combined is extremely lightweight & low profile, which keeps all of your Komodo builds, nimble and compact. Unique Open-Up Quick-release System The Baseplate kit features our patented Open-Up Quick-Release system, which lets you slide, lock & vertically release the camera from any ARRI standard balance plate or the included low profile dovetail plate. Compatible with RED KOMODO-X & KOMODO The riser comes with two sets of washer plates that are uniquely designed to match the screw spacing of RED KOMODO or KOMODO-X. Each plate accommodates a 1/4″ & 3/8″ screw. To mount your KOMODO, opt for the plate with screw holes spaced closer together (12.5mm). For the KOMODO-X, choose the plate with screw holes spaced further apart (25mm). Interchangeable Risers This is just one of the many risers in our range designed for the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate. Vertical Lift Off Feel secure with our patented Open-Up quick release system, providing the confidence that your camera will remain safely and securely locked off, with no danger of it slipping or falling off. The lever has three positions – locked, slide & release. When the lever is in its rearmost position, the bridgeplate locks firmly into place. Position the lever to the midpoint, allowing you to shift your bridgeplate along the balance plate with ease. To release the camera, press the safety eject button on the lever and adjust the lever to its forward position. Two removable safety screws prevent the plate from sliding out of the receiving accessory. These two screws can also be mounted on the right side of the plate to fix the dovetail plate into position. The LeftField ARRI Dovetail Plate can also snap in and out by releasing the Dovetail clamp further.
