Well made piece of equipment works perfectly. The Zacuto Gorilla Plate V2 is a small platform baseplate designed for DSLRs and other small cameras. It is the only baseplate that is compatible with the Panasonic GH3 when used with a Zacuto Z-Finder. The Gorilla plate attaches to your camera using a standard 1/4 20 screw. You can mount your tripod plate underneath the Gorilla plate to quickly move from handheld to tripod use. There is a 15mm rod port on the underside of the Gorilla Plate V2 controlled by a Zacuto quick release ratcheting lever. Use this port to add a handgrip or a run’n’gun kit like any of Zacuto’s gorilla kits- Target Shooter or Striker.
