The Canon C70 ACT Recoil Rig is an Arca-Swiss compatible shoulder rig with a lightweight camera specific cage for the Canon C70. This rig is balanced, easy to customize, perfect for all-day filming and easy to switch between shooting styles. An ACT Recoil rig is designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted and is easily configured to accommodate various shooting styles- tripod, cage, handheld, run’n’gun, low mode, and many more! This rig is ready to use out of the box including an high quality professional Kameleon Micro OLED EVF. This rig includes: – Canon C70 Cage – The Zacuto C70 Cage is our “no-cage” cage – lightweight and compact, and ready to accommodate any shooting style! It includes a Zacuto camera hand strap for a secure and comfortable grip on the camera. The cage also comes with an HDMI strain relief clamp and right angle HDMI adapter. It is compatible with Zacuto’s own Arca Swiss- The ‘ACT Recoil’ to quickly transform from handheld run’n’gun shooting to shoulder-mounted to gimbal and more! The cage screws into the top and bottom of the camera with provided 1/4″-20 screws for a rock solid connection. The top of the cage includes numerous 1/4″-20 holes for mounting accessories. It also has built-in Z-Rails for mounting an optional handle or other accessories and features Canon’s anti-twist grooves for mounting the camera’s proprietary handle. The built-in Arca Swiss compatible bottom plate has three 1/4″-20 threads and one 3/8″-16 thread for mounting a tripod plate or a Zacuto quick release plate. This allows you to move quickly from handheld, to shoulder mount, to tripod shooting. The cage also features an M6 ARRI rosette on the side for a handgrip, a coldshoe for mounting audio devices or a monitor, multiple ARRI anti-twist 3/8″-16 holes, and the option to relocate the camera’s film plane screw to either side of the camera. The top (camera plate) and bottom (tripod mount) of the baseplate are Arca-Swiss compatible for easy transitions between shooting styles. Add on our ACT mounting plate to your tripod to be able to quickly lock down your shoulder rig or cage rig. The bottom of the ACT Baseplate also has 1/4 20 and 3/8 16 screw holes for direct connection to tripod quick release plates. The red sliding top camera plate offers easy adjustability for different lens options to get your rig balanced properly for shoulder mount shooting. Our Mirrorless and DSLR cages can also mount directly into the top of the ACT baseplate, without the use of the red camera plate while offering the same features. – Tactical Handle – Our most versatile handle! Designed to attach to the top of your camera set up, it leaves plenty of room at the lens for focusing and will work with the widest of lenses. The Axis Micro has extensive articulation for use with a variety of cameras, both shoulder mounted in a Recoil configuration or in tripod operating position. It is very small and quick to install and remove. The Axis Micro attaches to your rig via a required 15mm rod port at the top of a kit positioned perpendicular to your camera lens, see recommended accessories. Slide the Axis Micro into the 15mm rod port and clamp into place.
