Vertical Lift Off Feel secure with our patented Open Up quick release system, providing the confidence that your camera will remain safely and securely locked off, with no danger of it slipping or falling off. The lever has three positions – locked, slide & release. When the lever is in its rearmost position, the bridge plate locks firmly into place. Position the lever to the midpoint, allowing you to shift your bridge plate along the balance plate with ease. To release the camera, press the safety eject button on the lever and adjust the lever to its forward position. When used with the LeftField Sliding Top Plates, the Dovetail plate provides a mounting surface for other accessories like the carrying handle and Titan Arm quick release brackets. Two removable safety screws prevent the plate from sliding out of the receiving accessory. These two screws can also be mounted on the right side of the plate to fix the dovetail plate into position. The LeftField ARRI Dovetail Plate can also snap in and out by releasing the Dovetail clamp further. This is especially handy if you have other accessories mounted onto your camera setup which can obstruct the camera package from sliding on and off the plate. Helicoil fittings are crucial to prevent thread stripping or binding. An important factor to consider when constantly changing rig configurations. You can also mount additional accessories using the cold shoe. The Side Plate also has mounting points to attach the HDMI clamp. – HDMI Clamp – Secure your HDMI cable connection to your Canon C70 with an adjustable clamp, preventing any accidental disconnections & damage. HDMI cables are notorious for disconnecting or coming loose, to prevent your video feed from cutting out in the middle of a shot, secure your cable with the HDMI Clamp. Fixing to the Canon C70 Side Plate, the HDMI clamp will lockdown on the cable end, preventing the cable from the slightest movements which can cause issues with your video feed. – NATO Top Handle – Add a perfectly balanced carrying handle to your camera with a compatible NATO mounting rail with side to side adjustment. – Top Bar Bracket – Attach the Top Bar Bracket to the NATO Top Handle to use 15mm rod mounted accessories like an EVF mount or lens motor without the need for a baseplate.
