It mounts to the camera using a 1/4″-20 screw on the bottom and s second M2.5 lock on the side, with rubber pads on the base plate preventing scratches. It comes with a variety of mounting options including 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 holes, ARRI locating holes and a cold shoe, which makes it easy to mount different camera accessories. For example attach SmallRig Top Handle HTR2640 or Side Handle HSS2642 for a better hand-held shooting. An included screwdriver is designed to tighten or detach the screws both at the bottom and side. The cage maintains full access to camera’s controls, ports and battery.
