About Tilta TA-T13-A – Full Camera Cage – This Basic Kit for the Sony FX3 provides protective armor for the camera body and includes relevant accessories to improve the functionality of the Sony FX3 in a video production environment. The Full Cage features several 1/4″-20 threads with various locating pins, two cold shoe receivers, a NATO Rail for Wooden and Advanced Side Handles, as well as a Rod Attachment Port for our Single Rod Holders. The left side arm module can be removed to turn this full cage into a half cage. This offers greater flexibility for stripping the camera down in situations where weight is a concern such as when mounting the system on a gimbal. The Bottom Plate of the cage also provides several mounting points for attaching your camera to various quick release plates and is compatible with the ARCA Receiver of the RS2 Mounting Plate. The included Quick Release Plate can be attached to the bottom of the cage to connect the system to our 15m LWS Baseplate Type IV. The 15mm LWS Baseplate adds 15mm rod support to the system and allows you to mount rod based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus systems. The bottom of this baseplate natively connects to our Tilta Standard Dovetails and also supports various quick release plates via 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads. The included Rotatable Top Handle mounts to the cold shoe receiver on the Top Mounting Plate and can be adjusted to be used as a side handle when shooting vertically. The Top Mounting Plate doubles as a NATO Rail for Side Handles to be mounted on top of the camera for vertical shooting needs. The Top Mounting Plate can also be removed independently of the other cage components, which allows you to easily mount the FX3’s original XLR Top Handle if needed. Integrated Design. Half Cage Multiple mounting options (such as 1/4″-20 screw holes with locating points, NATO rails, and cold shoe mounts) support the mounting of a rod holder, cable clamp attachment, etc. Left Side Arm The removable left side arm comes with a built-in wrist strap holder and 1/4″-20 screw hole with locating points. Multi-Functional Attachment For FX3 The cold shoe mount and the 1/4″-20 screw holes with locating points support accessories such as an additional rod holder, handle, etc. Easily Switch Between Horizontal & Vertical Operation Install the Tiltaing adjustable top handle to easily switch between horizontal and vertical operations. – Tiltaing Rotatable Top Handle – This quick release top handle easily and securely attaches to the cold shoe mounting point on the top of the camera cage for RED Komodo. It provides a cold shoe mounting point on the front and one on the back of the handle. The handle can be rotated in 90 degree increments – simply push the button that’s in the center of the handle and rotate it into the position you desire. – 15x200mm Aluminum rod – These rods are compatible with 15mm studio and 15mm LWS baseplates and provide a way to mount accessories to your camera rig. The price is for a pair of 15mm x 200mm black rods. – Tiltaing 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV – This 15mm LWS baseplate attaches to the base of the full camera cage for RED Komodo, Sony FX3 and Panasonic BGH1. This allows you to mount rod based accessories on 15mm LWS rods such as a follow focus systems or matte boxes. A Tilta Dovetail Receiver on the bottom of the baseplate allows you to easily slide and lock your camera system onto our Tilta Standard Dovetails or an ARRI Standard Dovetail via our Tilta Standard to Arri Standard Multi-Functional Baseplate 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 Threads on the bottom support almost any Quick Release Plate.
