About Tilta TA-T23-A This Pro Kit provides protective armor for the Sony a1, a7 II, a7 III, a7S, a7S II, a7R II, a7R III, a9 and includes many relevant accessories to greatly improve the camera’s functionality. – Full Camera Cage – This Full Camera Cage provides protective armor for the Sony a1, a7 II, a7 III, a7S, a7S II, a7R II, a7R III, a9 and allows you to secure different accessories to improve the camera’s functionality. The Full Cage features several 3/8″-16 and 1/4″-20 threads with locating pins, cold shoe receivers, and a NATO Rail for Type IV and VI Side Handles. It also features an ARRI Compatible Rosette Connection as well as Rod Attachment Ports for our optional Single Rod Holders. The rosette is specifically designed for our Adjustable Top Handle for more flexible operating and handling. The Bottom Plate provides 1/4″-20 threads for attaching your camera to various quick release plates and is compatible with the 15mm LWS Baseplate Type II. The included Slotted Screwdriver allows you to quickly assemble or disassemble the cage and various accessories. It also conveniently attaches to the bottom of the cage for storage. With the run / stop button, you can operate the recording start / stop function of the camera via the Nucleus-Nano R / S cable (for compatible cameras) sold separately. Side Handle Attachment (sold separately) is required to attach to the camera cage. This product does not include a battery. This can be especially helpful when using an external recorder. This type of unique NATO Rail connection allows you to slide and lock your handle onto the side panels of your camera cage. This creates an extremely solid connection that is also quick to remove if needed. This connection allows you to mount your handle further from your camera body than the Type IV.
